POP SURREALISM
Pop Surrealism is an underground visual art movement that arose in Los Angeles, California in the late 1960s. It is a populist art movement with its cultural roots in punk music, underground comix, tiki community, graffiti and hot-rod cultures of the street. It often has a sense of humour, such as sarcasm.
URBAN ART
Urban art combines street art and graffiti and is often used to summarise all visual art forms arising in urban areas, being inspired by urban architecture or present urban lifestyle.
OTHER CONTEMPORARY
Contemporary artists work in a globally influenced, culturally diverse, and technologically advancing world. Their art is a dynamic combination of materials, methods, concepts, and subjects that continue the challenging of boundaries that was already well underway in the 20th century.
