"I am super excited to be curating the show in Galerie Zberro's space," said Sonia. "With Carl Kostyál lending part of his network to join Géraldine and I's roster of artists, we're sure to create an impactful, 3-week experience."
Carl Kostyál is a gallerist and owner of a gallery bearing his name, who since 2010 has brought international attention to emerging artists, many of whom will be at the show.
Géraldine Zberro, the founder of Galerie Zberro, has managed the business for over two decades. She has built and elevated the careers of several international artists, showcasing them in the center of Paris, near the Champs-Élysées. The collaboration stems from a long admiration on both sides in taste of art, and of their successful maneuvering as women pioneers in the art world.
The event, which took place from the 15th of October until the 2nd of November, will premiere Sonia’s first published book about practical art collecting advice: Art in Real-Time. It will serve as a guide for young collectors and artists to get into the modernizing industry.
“I believe the book, much like the exhibition, is showcasing my philosophy of what art collecting should be,” said Sonia. “Art is a way of living, and I believe that these young artists are, and will be just as impactful as those before them.”
